The support we provide:
As a Supported Housing Landlord we provide each of our tenants with the following support, all of the support is conditional to and forms part of our tenancy agreement.
Assistance with benefits
Arranging contractors
Arranging DIY services
Arranging aids and adaptations
Move on advice
We will assist tenants in making new and renewal claims for specified benefits
This means;
We can assist and advise tenants to complete claims for Housing Benefit, Council Tax exemption, Income Support, Employment and Support Allowance, Pension Credit and Disability Living Allowance.
We can assist at all stages of appeal for these benefits, if tenants feel the decision is incorrect.
We can provide advice and assistance to tenants when they fall in and out of eligibility.
We can correspond with Housing Benefit, DLA, DWP and The Pension Service to achieve tenants full entitlement to benefits.
Every year we will send a form asking for tenants views on the service.
The outcome tenants can expect from this service is that they receive full entitlement to benefits.
We will arrange contractors
This means;
We can arrange quotes and liaise with contractors
We can report jobs to the relevant contractor
We can track to completionj all repairs that are the tenants responsibility
We can chase all overdue repair jobs
We can check that a job has been done and that the tenants are happy with it.
The outcome tenants can expect from this service is all repairs that are their responsibility and all jobs that they ask Partners Foundation to arrange will be done on time and to their satisfaction.
We will help tenants to maintain their property in an appropriate condition
This means;
We can provide a DIY service
We can arrange quotes and liaise with contractors
We can report DIY repairs to the contractor
We can track any outstanding jobs to completion
We can check with the tenants to make sure a job has been done and that they are happy with it
We can liaise with the Superior Landlords as required
We can provide tenants with a breakdown of jobs carried out
The outcome tenants can expect is that all DIY jobs they ask Partners Foundation to do will be done on time and to a good standard.
