"With help and support from Partners Foundation I have just moved into my own bungalow and my life has changed completely. I have a small staff team who support me. My confidence has grown and I am finally returning to my cheeky, mischievous and care free self. This has been a long journey for me and the people involved in my care but all the hard work has now paid off and I am at last happy in my own home. Thank you to everyone who has helped me especially Partners Foudation who made all this possible".

“We are both so very happy in our lovely home, it is certainly a dream come true, and something we had wished for since the day we were married. It was a wonderful experience choosin our new home, in the area we grew up in, close to our family and friends. We now have a perfect bungalow of our choice, which has been made fully accessible and adapted for both of us on ‘wheels’. Partners Foundation have helped to make it all possible and we are so thankful to them for us this opportunity and a brand new start – we feel we have come home at last – it is fantastic”

Partners Foundation has given people the opportunity of living in an area of their choice, where the council have been unable to accommodate their housing needs. This has enhanced people’s lives ,and given them choice. Partners Foundation have also supported people to claim the correct entitlement of benefits and to challenge decisions around the charges for services. They have also supported individuals at looking at decisions around support requirements. Individuals have expressed how this support has made a real difference to their lives on a daily basis.

"Just to say thank you for making my daughter’s home so lovely, it may sound a little daft but it felt like ‘home’ as soon as we walked in. Thank you all for all you hard work. Best wishes"

Just a little thank you, your help was very much appreciated, I could have given up on the Disability Living Allowance form without your help. So I just wanted to let you know, you are a star and many, many, thanks. When I am driving my sister around in her car I will think of all the help you gave us. Lots of love.
