On Thursday 28th September the PFL team hosted a coffee morning to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity
Macmillan are a charity that helps and supports people who are effected with cancer. They offer support services and advice for those who are battling with the disease and every year people who support the organisation host a coffee morning to help raise much needed funds.

This year we have done it again and as always the staff at Partners Foundation have brought their own creations (and some from the shops). The coffee morning really began an hour in when our stall was swarmed by many hungry people who wanted to nibble on our delicious treats however they were left disappointed when our Malteser cheesecake didn’t settle and had to be rushed back to the office leaving a trail of chocolate cream cheese behind. The whole PFL team was involved in serving out the cakes with two team members swapping every hour.
Since 2021 we have hosted three coffee mornings in the reception foyer at the Wigan Investment Centre and sold cakes and treats to raise money for cancer research and so far we have raised £666.30 and this year we raised £180 and we are still wating to collect donations from the red pepper café & our colin the caterpillar face game. We will continue to do our annual coffee morning and help support the lovely cause for Macmillan cancer research.
