Paying Rent To Partners Foundation

It’s a promise between you (the tenant) and us (the landlord) about paying rent each month to stay in your home. We’ve made it easy to understand because we know everyone is different.
 
Rent is the money you pay to live here, and we’re always ready to help with any questions. Your home is a special place, and we’re here to support you every step of the way!

How your rent and charges are broken down:

• Rent
• Property services
• Support charges (In some of our properties)
• Building Insurance
• Repairs & Maintenance
• Fire and safety equipment/maintenance (But not firefighting equipment )

Your Rent Includes:

*But not firefighting equipment

Building insurance

*Covers the cost of the things that may go wrong with your house. You are
responsible for ensuring your personal belongings.

Kitchen Appliances

*Items like cookers, fridges, washers, dryers, hobs and microwaves

Property Service

*Property Services may include Health & Safety Checks, Gardening, Repairs & House Maintenance

Here are some of the ways you can pay your rent:

Online Banking

You can make a payment directly into our bank account. Our sort code is 20-64-12 and account number 40081361 and we bank with Barclays. Please quote your name and address as reference so that we can match the payment to you

Standing Order

You can ring us and request a standing order form which we can send out to you. You must then complete the form and return this to your bank by either visiting your bank or posting it to your bank 

Cheque

You can send us a check for the amount you need to pay and make your cheque payable to:  Partners Foundation LTD please write your name and address on the back of the cheques and send it to us by post or hand deliver it to us

Electrical Safety

We use electricity every day in our home and we sometimes forget how dangerous it can be. Here are some tips to improve safety around your home, it is a good idea to check for these common faults/dangers:

  • Check for frayed or damaged leads
  • Tuck leads safely out of the way and keep them neat and tidy
  • If you have any cracked plugs, sockets and switches report them to us straight away
  • When using bulbs only use ones at or below the maximum wattage
  • Remember water and electricity do not mix – do not unplug or plug things in with wet hands, be careful if you spill water near or over appliances
  • Don’t overload sockets, too many plugs in one socket can be dangerous, overheat and cause fire
